Dr. Sree Lakshmi Rodda is a highly accomplished Clinical Oncologist with extensive experience in the management of urological cancers. She completed her specialist registrar training in Clinical Oncology within the Yorkshire Deanery and was appointed as a Consultant at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in 2016.

In her role, Dr. Rodda provides expert oncology care across several institutions, including Leeds Teaching Hospitals, Mid Yorkshire Trust, Bradford, Huddersfield, and Airedale. She specialises in the treatment of Prostate and Bladder cancers, offering comprehensive outpatient consultations to discuss individualized treatment options.

Dr. Rodda is proficient in a range of treatment modalities, including:

·         Brachytherapy, including both low-dose-rate (LDR) and high-dose-rate (HDR) techniques for prostate cancer

·         Chemotherapy

·         Androgen Deprivation Therapy

·         External Beam Radiotherapy, with expertise in advanced techniques such as VMAT (Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy), SABR (Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy), and IGRT (Image-Guided Radiotherapy)

A significant area of her clinical and research interest is Prostate Brachytherapy, in which she has substantial experience. She is skilled in both low-dose-rate (LDR) and high-dose-rate (HDR) brachytherapy techniques. Dr. Rodda further honed her expertise through a prestigious fellowship in Prostate Brachytherapy at the internationally renowned BC Cancer Agency in Vancouver, Canada, and has performed numerous brachytherapy procedures as a Consultant.

An active contributor to academic research, Dr. Rodda has published extensively in leading oncology journals. Her scholarly work reflects her commitment to advancing clinical practice, particularly in the field of prostate cancer.
